Company No. 16720987

A workshop first, a company second

Lanrigson I-Tech Limited was incorporated in England and Wales on 16 September 2025 to do one thing well and several things honestly: repair computers, and take care of the systems around them.

Why the company exists

The bill should never be a surprise

Almost everyone has a version of the same story. A laptop goes in for a screen and comes back with a bill for a motherboard. A "free diagnostic" turns into a charge for a part that was never faulty. A quote is given over the counter, verbally, and quietly grows while the machine is out of sight.

Lanrigson I-Tech was set up by a working IT support technician to run the other way round. The diagnosis is written down before any money is discussed. The quote is fixed, itemised and sent by email, so it exists in a form you can hold us to. If we open a machine and find something further, the work stops and you get a second quote — we do not carry on and explain afterwards.

The same instinct runs through the advisory and supply work. We hold no reseller tier, no partner status and no commission arrangement, which means the machine we recommend and the repair we advise against cost us exactly the same. That is the only reliable way to make advice worth listening to.

In one paragraph

We are a small London computer repair and IT service company. We measure before we quote, quote before we work, and put both in writing — and we would rather lose a job than sell one that should not be bought.

How we work

Six things we hold to

These are not aspirations. They are the rules the workshop runs on, and every one of them is something you can hold us to in writing.

01

Diagnose before quoting

No price is given until the fault has been reproduced on the bench. A guess dressed as a quote is how repairs go wrong.

02

Everything in writing

Cause, parts, labour, total and timescale by email. If it was not written down, it was not agreed and it will not be charged.

03

Stop when the job changes

A second fault means a second quote and a second decision by you — never a larger invoice explained afterwards.

04

Say when not to buy

Beyond economical repair is a real answer, and so is "this will last another two years". We take no commission either way.

05

Treat data as private

We touch files only where the job requires it, keep no copies once you have confirmed recovery, and work under UK GDPR.

06

Know the edges

Cleanroom recovery, sealed manufacturer repairs, penetration testing, bespoke development — we refer these out rather than improvise.

Where we work

London bench, UK remote

The workshop and registered office are in London, at 3 Millfields Road, E5 0AA. Bench work happens there; on-site visits and business collection across Greater London are arranged by appointment rather than offered as a walk-in service, so that a booked slot means a booked slot.

Remote work — software faults, account and email problems, configuration, consultancy and support agreements — is delivered anywhere in the United Kingdom. All work is carried out in English, invoiced in pounds sterling, and governed by the laws of England and Wales.

What this website does not claim

Lanrigson I-Tech Limited was incorporated on 16 September 2025. A company that new cannot honestly present a decade of case studies, so this site does not contain client logos, testimonials, star ratings, repair counts or track-record statistics — not because they would not help, but because we would have to invent them.

The figures that do appear are commitments rather than measurements: a reply within one working day, no charge when a repair cannot be completed, a fixed quote valid for fourteen days, a ninety-day workmanship warranty, and zero commission on hardware we recommend. They describe the terms we work to from the first job onwards.

Where a job falls outside what a small workshop should take on, we say so and point you elsewhere. That includes cleanroom data recovery, manufacturer-sealed warranty repairs, formal security certification and custom software development.

If anything on this site turns out to be inaccurate or out of date, write to support@lanrigson.org and it will be corrected.
